Magnifi has partnered with Stripe to provide best-in-class payment handling and security. Your financial details are securely held with Stripe; Magnifi never has access to this data. Stripe is trusted by other tech companies like Amazon, Facebook, and Shopify. Stripe is certified as a PCI Level 1 Service Provider, which is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry. You will need a Stripe account to become a Magnifi Provider (but not required for general Magnifi users) so that Magnifi call earnings can be deposited to your bank account. To set up your Stripe account, complete the Provider sign-up steps, as discussed in our How to Sign Up as a Provider article. The final required step in this process is to add Stripe by tapping the Add bank account button to begin. You will then be brought to Stripe's sign up page.
You can either:
- Sign into an existing Stripe account within the Magnifi app
- Create a new Stripe account from within the Magnifi app
- Create a new Stripe account by visiting Stripe's home page, then sign into this account within the Magnifi app
Once you create a Stripe account, your account is not limited to only Magnifi transactions. Instead, you can create and manage multiple accounts by using the drop-down selector on your Stripe Dashboard, as shown below.
By creating or signing into a Stripe account through the Magnifi app, your Stripe account becomes connected to Magnifi's platform account, allowing Magnifi to send your call earnings to your Stripe account. You can revoke Magnifi's connection to your Stripe account at any time (see How to Disconnect or Close Your Stripe Account).
