In order to accept live incoming calls from Users, two conditions must both be met:
- A User initiates the call within the time range set in the your Availability schedule (e.g. 9am to 5pm)
- Your Do Not Disturb status is turned off. This is done through the main menu: near the top of the menu, just below your profile picture.
Users can then reach you until you enable Do Not Disturb status OR your Availability hours end.
Accepting Calls From a Locked Phone
When your phone is locked, incoming calls from Users will trigger the "Slide to Answer" screen, similar to incoming phone calls, as shown below:
Once you slide to answer, you will be presented with a call options screen. During this stage, your call will connect with audio-only and you can begin speaking to the User. Call duration and cost tracking will begin at this point, as shown below:
Call Connecting
Call Connected with Audio-Only:
To go to the Magnifi video screen, Tap the "Magnifi" button, as shown below, to connect to the User call:
If you have enabled Passcode or Touch ID as a security measure on your phone, you will then be asked to unlock the phone with your PIN or fingerprint.
You should now be connected to the User.
Accepting Calls When Your Phone is Unlocked
When your phone screen is active, but the Magnifi app is not currently open, incoming User calls will display the call notification screen shown below - simply tap the "Accept" button to take the call.
Similarly, when your phone screen is active and you currently are using the Magnifi app, incoming User calls will display the call notification screen shown below - simply tap the green phone button to take the call.
Rejected Calls
When incoming User calls are inconvenient, simply tap the red rejection button. The User will be notified that you were unavailable and may coordinate a more convenient time with you via in-app messages.
